Historic Mexico Videos
This video shows a gathering on the east side of Mexico Point; people leaving the Methodist Church after some of the 150th anniversary celebration in 1958; as well as scenes from the village of Mexico: homes, people and shops on the north side of Mexico from the late 1930s.
This 4 minute clip is from the late 1930s, with short scenes of homes, the Mexico high school and Main Street businesses. You may recognize some of the buildings and the people may be your grandparents, aunt or uncle, or old next-door neighbor. Easy to identify is the Curtis McFee food market and Kellogg Memorials.
This video shows more of the 150th anniversary celebration at the Mexico Methodist Church in 1958.
Some of this video is a gathering, perhaps a church party, at Mexico Point; more of the Methodist Church 150th anniversary; and village scenes from both sides of Main Street.
